Healthy Lifestyle Postnatal Weight Management Support

This Postnatal weight management programme is a new one for our One You Lincolnshire healthy lifestyle service, and we feel its going to be a great benefit to ladies who have given birth in the past 12 months, when your body feels ready to focus on a healthy lifestyle change.

Hello, I’m Karly-Marie, my role will include focusing on you as an individual, to help you choose the best weight management pathway, empowering you to achieve your goals as smoothly as possible and maintain that healthy balance long term. We will be discussing barriers and past achievements regarding weight loss, getting an idea of what your busy lifestyle includes and what works best for you.
We know that everyone’s life gets busy and especially when you are a new mum. That’s why we have several courses to offer to suit you. Whether it be a digital only programme or face to face group sessions, you can benefit from additional 1:1 support and On Demand gym classes - there’s something for everyone. All running for at least 12 weeks and free when eligibility criteria is met.
A typical appointment would consist of discussing your baseline measurements, such as height and weight, as well as your current routine, expectations and goals for your journey ahead. It’s relaxed and open, we can chat about your barriers to weight management and how we can work through them. We will help you maintain the healthy balance of nutrition and appropriate, regular exercise.
Once we have started you on your choice of course, we will have a 4,8 & 12 week follow up appointment to discuss your progress, see how you are feeling and address any challenges along your journey with us.
After you have come to the end of your programme with us, hopefully you’re starting to feel a lot healthier and happier and can continue to enjoy your new habits throughout your day to day life. We are always here for further support if needed and just a phone call away.

For free support contact our team on 01522 705162, register through here or ask your GP/Health Visitor to refer you.
