Are You Shielding?

Last year was a tough year for most people. Not to mention the 33, 000 Lincolnshire residents who received a shielding letter after being defined as clinically extremely vulnerable. Having personal health worries prior to the pandemic and now living through a global pandemic will be scary. Fast forward to the second week of 2021 and here we are back in our third national lockdown where these same 33, 000 will be receiving another shielding letter.
So, we want to reach out and offer you our support.
If you didn’t already know, we’re a healthy lifestyle service who help Lincolnshire residents to Stop Smoking, Lose Weight & Eat Well, Move More and Drink Less. Within each of the four pathways we offer a number of ways to access that support. We know that not a one size fits and all and each person’s lifestyle journey is unique to them. Like many other services, we have had to adapt the way in which we deliver our service in line with government guidance but also to do our best to protect ourselves and our valued clients. We have gone from face to face to remote delivery, using digital platforms and telephone support.
We are here and remain open to continue to support you in your healthy lifestyle journey.
Additional to our four main areas of support we have a fantastic team of Health Coaches who, holistically support a person in their journey with One You Lincolnshire.  If you’re a person who requires some extra support to aid your wellbeing or to keep your motivation up then speak to a member of our team.  If you’d like to read more about how health coaches work read one of our previous blogs here - https://www.oneyoulincolnshire.org.uk/post/a-health-coaches-story
